Assessment: The Personality Test was an easy route.

Learning: Doing Judo in my early teens helped.

Analysis: Reading a book drives analysis, with what would I do.

Practice: It is a lifelong challenge, and everyone changes with age and experience.

Application: Doing what you like and helping others.

Negotiating Agreements and Commitment,
Presenting Ideas with Effective Oral Presentations.

Building and Maintaining a Power Base: Work with Clients, Business Partners, and Suppliers. To discover what dependencies affect their businesses.

Assessment: Listen, record, and assess comments.

Learning: To ask constructive questions related to projects current and planned.

Analysis: Helps spot opportunities.

Practice: Proposal and Tender writing.

Application: Act as information Broker.

Negotiating Agreements and Commitment: With each of these dependencies above. Match these to Projects, and deliverables to the right team.

Assessment: This will be the hard part because other projects might be in conflict.  

Learning: To adjust and still make the deliverables.

Analysis: Be honest and agreement should be easy.

Practice: From experience be able to readjust.

Application: Showing commitment wins support.

Presenting Ideas with Effective Oral Presentations: This comes with practice. And the study of good presenters.

Assessment: The contents of the project story.

Learning: How to tell the project story.

Analysis: Verbal agreement from all parties.

Practice: Speak out loud the project story to check it sounds right and to remember it.

Living with Change: This is driven by global changes in health, technology, economics, and politics.

Assessment:    The pandemic has shaken people.     

Learning:        Lockdown and WFH has made people think about changing their life’s.           

Analysis:         No commute, quiet roads, and healthier life.

Practice:          The lockdown has enabled it.

Application:    WFH and no commute are win-win and some companies that do not the change will   end up with no employees.     


 

Creative Thinking: Is turning problems upside down and thinking outside the box to find solutions. 

Assessment:    More and more people will be doing this.

Learning:        People must learn enough to be members of Sprint[3] Teams.        

Analysis:         This will lead to more productivity.          

Practice:          Coaching will aid know-how.  

Application:    Product and Service solutions in 5 days.       


 

Managing Change: Requires good Project Management [2] and working in partnership with the Client or Business Partners or Suppliers.

Assessment:    Based on obtaining a Client Brief.      

Learning:        Who does what and how to change them.

Analysis:         How to do the changes needs input and constructive questions.     

Practice:          Learn by doing.          

Application:    When required by any project.

Assessment: Based on their responses to my views.

Learning: Giving more reasoned views.

Analysis: Making deliverables easy.

Practice: Helps the team adjust the processes.

Application:    Able to agree on the approach to each project.

Participative Decision Making: In the one-person business this is the only way forward. It helps you operate in the Virtual Team with the Client or Business Partners or Suppliers.

Assessment: Virtual Teams need member's best efforts.

Learning:     How to work with others.

Analysis: Team decisions are easy.

Practice: Members develop a better approach.

Application: We let all Team members play their part.

Conflict Management: Another hard one, that requires thought. Personal control to keep relationships working and prevent losing work.

Assessment: Changes cause conflicts.

Learning:     The Team must agree on the way forward.

Analysis: We do not want to be caught out.

Practice: Helps Team members avoid conflict.

Application: Know how to overcome conflict.
